Michael McLaughlin

Founder, Path66

Michael McLaughlin is a seasoned financial services executive with over 30 years of experience driving growth, managing risk, and delivering innovative solutions across structured finance and private credit.

As a consultant, he leverages his deep expertise across structuring, investing, and business transformation to help organizations deploy capital with clarity and confidence.

At Macquarie Group from 2008 to 2023, Michael built the credit markets business from inception to a multi-billion dollar portfolio financing platform. Prior to Macquarie, Michael was the Global Head of the Structured Securities Group at Banc of America Securities - a business that was consistently ranked in the Top 5 of global arrangers of CLO's and other structured credit products.

Michael holds an MBA from Penn State and a BS from Villanova University as well as certificates in entrepreneurism, blockchain, Al / machine learning, and Python from Stanford, MIT, UT Austin, and CMU.
